Camponectado

"Colombia, Peru and Paraguay support the success of Camponectado, Chilean innovation of monitoring and automation for the "internet of plants" at low cost and easy to use."

“The bet of the Chilean company Beri Ltda., Camponectado, warns the farmers about future frosts and soil conditions, in addition to generating historical statistics through a continuous examination of the crop”

From the field to the cloud

Facilitating the work carried out in the field is the innovative proposal of Camponectado, a system of monitoring and automation of crops in real time, which through a continuous examination of the crop via sensors, connects the field with the cloud. The objective? Save resources and improve production efficiency.

The bet, developed by the Chilean company Beri Ltda., considers a series of environmental variables of crops in real time (humidity, temperature, CO2, luminosity, UV radiation, pH and more) and automation of processes in the field.

Through autonomous stations with solar panels, Camponectado alerts farmers about future frosts and soil conditions, in addition to generating historical statistics through a continuous examination of the crop. Currently the company exports to Colombia but will soon do so in Peru and Bolivia.

In the opinion of Hugo Riveros, CEO & Co Founder of the company, Chilean proposals such as Camponectado “can contribute to create an image of Chile as a platform for disruptive technologies and, why not, future standards in the industry,” says the executive.
